Welcome to Shenandoah Community Health
- We are a community health center and a Patient Centered Medical Home, right here, in the Eastern Panhandle
- Since 1976, our dedicated providers and support staff have worked on your behalf so that you receive the highest quality, comprehensive health care possible.
- We offer a wide range of coordinated services: primary medical care, women's health services, behavioral health care, dental and oral care, and programs such as WIC, medication assistance, and case management.
- We accept most private insurance plans as well as Medicaid, Medicare, and WV CHIP. We also have a sliding fee program for those who qualify.
Take a step in the right direction by attending foot care day; Shepherd University students will be presenting information on how to take care our feet on April 1st. Morning walks are scheduled for April 3rd and April 17th. CHOICES team members will help guide patients through a buffet and make healthy decisions at Golden Corral on April 7th. Come to the support meetings on April 20th and 21st and learn about the psychological benefits of gardening. Refer to the April newsletter or talk to any CHOICES team member for more information on these unique opportunities. (The CHOICES program offers support to SCH patients with Diabetes. Talk to your primary care provider for information on becoming a CHOICES patient.)
