Shenandoah Community Health is pleased to welcome Amanda Sowers, NP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner, to our team. She will join the providers of SCH Primary Care on 1330 Amherst Street in Winchester, Virginia.
Ms. Sowers received her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 2015 and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 2009. She practices Cura Personalis, care of the whole person—mind, body and spirit with an interest in promoting a natural and healthy lifestyle to prevent acute and chronic illness.
Ms. Sowers brings with her 12 years of clinical experience in both the hospital and family practice settings, with a special focus on pediatrics.
