Walking Trail

In February of 2020, SCH Foundation was awarded a grant* by the WVU College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences Take Back Our Health initiative to restore an existing half mile trail located at the 99 Tavern Road, Martinsburg location to encourage usage through clinical physical activity prescriptions and referrals. We are pleased to offer this resource at our location to improve health in our community.

Please note that the trail is not paved, and may not be suitable for individuals with poor balance or who use a walking assist.

*Grant funding from the Eastern Area Health Education Center and from the WV Bureau of Public Health/Take Back Our Health WV provided for restoration of the Wellness Trail.
