Shenandoah Community Health Celebrates National Children's Dental Health Month March 21, 2019

February was National Children’s Dental Health Month, an observance that brings together thousands of dedicated dental professionals, healthcare providers and others to promote the benefits of good oral health to children. This year's NCDHM campaign slogan was "Brush and clean in between to build a healthy smile." Shenandoah Community Health (formerly Winchester Family Health Center) is pleased to welcome Adriana Posadas, MS, PA-C to their primary care team. She will join the clinical staff of Shenandoah Community Health—Winchester on 1330 Amherst Street. Ms. Posadas received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University and comes with eight years professional experience, including four years as an adjunct professor. Shenandoah Community Health Observes World AIDS Day December 6, 2018

Health Centers, such as Shenandoah Community Health (SCH), continue to focus on coordinated and comprehensive care and the integration of HIV testing, prevention, care and treatment into primary care which can increase access and improve health outcomes for people living with or at risk for HIV. Shenandoah Community Health celebrated Veterans last week by gathering special messages from patients and staff on a banner for Veterans at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg.
